While I don't travel much on business anymore, I still get a lot of opportunity for mobile operating. So far I have operated mobile in these
24 states.
Alabama - Arkansas - Delaware - Florida
Georgia - Illinois - Indiana - Iowa
Kansas - Kentucky - Louisiana - Maryland - Missouri
Mississippi - Nebraska - New Jersey - New York
North Carolina -
Ohio -
Pennsylvania - South Carolina
Tennessee - Virginia - West Virginia
Often I operate in the "tri-state" corner area where Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina all meet. In the space of 800 feet I can cover all three states and if the nice old guy that lives on the corner is home, I can go park in his field and actually be in all three states at the same time.
By the way, an operating tip when mobile in the Georgia Capital. It almost always should be "mobile-in-motion" as it is usually not a good thing to park anywhere for long periods of time in Atlanta itself. It is best to provide a moving target, so to speak. Those of you that have never been to Atlanta might not know that it is easy to move around as everyone drives at least 70 on the main highways. Any speed much lower is likely to result in a ticket for impeding traffic.
